Catching my breathe

The last 2 weeks have been one ball of fire.. so much energy has been tumbling in my direction. Plus, the balancing act of life with Yoga has been interesting.

Last week, with the re-introduction of the importance of nutrition specifically through Ayurvedic philosophy has once again been a profound eye-opener. Not just good nutrition, but specifically for your Dosha type - including the practice of following Ayurveda in your life. From early morning rituals, to seasonal eating and so much more.

Ayurveda is definitely the way to go! Obviously, ensuring that you maintain a balanced mind and soul about your practice.

Other mind openers - emotions have not yet surfaced, infact - finding a deeper sense of calm and been so rewarding. But, today - with a palpitating heart that felt as if it was about to explode out my chest cavity allowed me to feel the initial surface of emotions. Are my emotions stuck in my heart center? It will be an interesting next couple of weeks to explore and heal.

The practice itself has started to open up even more - body is responding well, this week I am feeling the toxins in both muscles and joints - I suspect that since my practice has increased from 1-2 x week to 3-5 x week I will go through quite an intense detox - drinking plenty of fluids will be a must and that goes for anyone endeavouring to explore yoga.
note to self! I need to drink more water!

Other discoveries - a need to explore Kundalini Yoga plus, different series and practices so that eventually each practice or session becomes completely guided.

Early morning dawn while Buddha watches on

As the fiesta of Yoga continues - the mind and body are simultaneously connecting. The peacefulness of the transition is taking hold (even only after 1 week of Yoga... wow!)

Sunday the process of learning the sequence begun - nerves abate I pray that I will be able to give a mind and body altering sequence with ease.

Namaste!
